Mine is that very color, and I painted them black, that yellow just looks hideous to me. I painted them with one of those little bottles of model car paint back in 1983 and it's still on there. Well except where I carved 'sexy' into the paint for some reason. LoL

The holes are there because I wanted them there. LoL I have a snake that loops through them and it's tail hangs out a ways at the end and it's head is just under my hand by the bridge and it sparkles and swings and it looks like no other guitar ever! I think it's cool. That's all that I need. I don't care about it being in original condition cause my improvements make it even ,more original! LoL

Huh... It's an attractive color. I kinda like the 'cream' colored pickups.

The good news is that the paint didn't harm much. The important bits should be fine.

As for the holes and snake - I think the important question is one you already answered. Do you like it? You do! That's the important thing.

I do like it. I like it a lot. I like the pickups too, i like them better black

Note to self: Find the pickups I meant to send before this whole trip to VA started. I'm pretty sure they were uncapped humbuckers and black. They might have been P90s, which I'd not suggest swapping out. I'm pretty sure they were black and a P90 doesn't generally come in black.

Hmm... I'll make a mental note to see where the fuck they went. I could have sworn I send hem with your shirts.
