I bought that on sale for I think $70 about 5 or 6 years ago

Hmm... In my head, it was given to you - not that long ago, like within the past couple of years.

Am I mistaking it for a different multi-effects pedal, or another pedal entirely? Or is my memory just something I completely fabricated all by myself?

I could have sworn it was Chris (or similar) that gave it to you.

If you use just the plain wah, you can really use the wah by manipulating the expression pedal - the one on the right that can also control things like volume.

Chris gave me a cheap Stagg acoustic guitar, maybe that is what you are remembering?

Maybe... For all I know, it was something I completely made up in my head. I may well have been drunk and conflated the two, 'cause maybe they were mentioned in the same comment chain? Buggered if I know...

Either way, $70 new was a fucking steal. It looks like they came out around 2014 or so.
