I don't think I am going to be buying any new guitars
Man, that took some digging. It's 500 watt peak and only 75 watt RMS. (But still a lot of bang for the buck.)
Probably loud as fuck
I don't think I've seen an amp with such a discrepancy between peak and RMS. but 70 watts is still pretty loud and a good bargain for the money (assuming it's acceptable quality).
Also, my memory is usually pretty shitty.
But, not for guitar stuff and not for Gibson stuff!
See:

So, yeah... There are some years, even a decade, where you want to avoid Gibson products - unless you know what you're doing, know what you're getting, and can live with the end result long-term.
The good news is that they're usually pretty inexpensive for those outlying years.
LoL
Im jamming with Chris and Verle and Bob!
I wonder if this is really 500 watts:

Pushing that much through a 10" speaker means it's going to suck - or be a surprisingly good speaker at that price range. I'm tempted to order one just to see if it's a true 500 watt RMS. Maybe it's peak wattage, but that's still insane at this price point.
if it's a solid amp, you should buy one - if you're going to perform.
My Marshall (down here) has a few wrinkles in the tolex. I don't mind. The store gave me a discount on it. But, I wonder if it speaks to their QC?
No, probably not... There are some great import guitars at not a lot of money. The under $300 market is pretty strong.
