Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

I think a new guitar player would buy that amp - 'cause they wouldn't have spent another hour digging for specs (eventually found in an eBay listing).

The new guitar player is often an idiot. Buying that amp would likely be a waste of money, more or less. The return policy is that there is none. You can't return it - but you can ask for your money back. That means they're so shitty that the seller doesn't actually want them back to resell if you're not satisfied.

A new player would ignore that. They'd see the 500 watt label and price. They'd then spend their hundred bucks on it and be disappointed when they learned what a good amp sounds like.

So, I'm going to not be a new player in this regards. I'm going to wait until I'm back in Maine and order the LT-25 from Fender. I'm basically pretending the new guitar player actually has invested in a competent guitar instructor who would help them shy away from bad purchases.
