In your blank document, press CTRL + Z to undo the last operation, which was likely an accidental select-all and delete. (That assumes you haven't since closed it. If you've closed it, the buffer has almost certainly been deleted.)
Lately, I've been waking up in the middle of the night, smoking and not quite burning the place down, but using my laptop. If you use something like OpenOffice, it may save multiple versions so that you can go back through them.

Just in case Poal goes down, you should probably have a text file where you keep a running backup of this thread for the archives. When someone posts a link to a track (if they do), hit the source button and copy/paste it as a new text in your text file as a temp backup.
