Hello everyone. I made up a new song this week. I had all the lyrics in a word document in the laptop and when I went to go sing them they were all gone, nothing but a blank page. And of course I didn't remember them, It was about Ozzy, but I guess that was not meant to be. Then I found these here words on another document that I didn't remember writing. So I just used those. Here's
Back in my early band days I did many things I don't clearly remember. Ozzy-esk it is and well done Sir
Thank you carl!
Well, those lyrics work.
In your blank document, press CTRL + Z to undo the last operation, which was likely an accidental select-all and delete. (That assumes you haven't since closed it. If you've closed it, the buffer has almost certainly been deleted.)
Lately, I've been waking up in the middle of the night, smoking and not quite burning the place down, but using my laptop. I ain't gotta clue what the fuck it is I thought I was doing, but I wake up and all my shit's closed, moved, or some bizarre setting has been enabled and takes like an hour to fix the fucking thing.
I need to break my fucking fingers before I go to bed.
I tried that. I think i accidentally saved it after cutting all of it for some reason.
If you use something like OpenOffice, it may save multiple versions so that you can go back through them.
I really kinda want to go driving. I have had a couple of beers, but that has been two beers over three hours. So, I'm not even a little intoxicated.
Just in case Poal goes down, you should probably have a text file where you keep a running backup of this thread for the archives. When someone posts a link to a track (if they do), hit the source button and copy/paste it as a new text in your text file as a temp backup.
The server could go down at any time.
Well that rocked the house!
Sweet! It was supposed to!
Thank you!
