I am sure I would have failed a bac test. I have never heard of anyone passing the field sobriety test and not being asked to blow in the little device. I got super lucky.
I have a buddy who has (numerous times) told the cop that he had balancing issues when being asked to take a field sobriety test.
Said buddy is a bit like Verle.
did that work for him?
Yes, it has worked for him all sorts of times. As far as I know, he's never had an OUI. In the past, I've been with him twice when he was stopped.
He's a big fella with some knee damage from the military, so he does have legitimate balance issues.
LOL They declared a state of emergency.
There's hardly any snow where I am. It's enough to have fun.
The tires are pretty much the slickest they can be. With traction control on, the car barely moves. There's a 'snow mode' (I think that's what it is) and it would kinda move.
So, with traction control on not even I can be gentle enough to take off in first - it just wants to spin so it sits there barely moving and gaining speed slower than my old Volvo.
But... If you turn that traction control all the way off, AND you know what you're doing, you can actually get it moving. Fortunately, there are no big hills. 'Cause not even my best driving would get me up a steep hill in that car. It's pretty much useless in the snow - unless you feel like going sideways.
Which I did.
Once again, I smashed into nothing and the cops didn't even pay the slightest bit of attention. Then again, my tires might have been going 100 mph, the car itself was only going 40!
I'm not retarded. I didn't take it over to I-95 and rip it up the interstate 'cause that's how you crash and burn.
I did see what looked like a few national guard people out. They didn't bother me any. I think everyone is just surprised to see a Viper out in the snow that's actually driving the car like it should be driven, ripping it sideways with rooster-tails of snow flying out behind me!
Also, my car needs to be washed.
They somehow found some sand and had a guy in the back of a truck hucking sand out the back with a shovel. I laughed a great deal when I saw that. They literally don't have a broadcast sander. They barely even had sand.
Sounds like fun. Slick tires are not so good in snow!
What amuses me most is that there's a 'snow mode' in the traction control settings. It doesn't work for fuck with the tires on it, but it's got a snow mode. Well, it has what looks like a snowflake on it.
I'm surprised the site hasn't gone down yet. I was under the impression that it was imminent.
