and my friend is not in custody, last time I saw him he said he was leaving and I probably would not see him again.

The charges were just filed anyways though.

I'm not sure what I'd have done in his shoes. I can afford a lawyer. I can afford a whole team of lawyers.

If you do hear from him, and he's open to advice, when he gets caught make sure he says absolutely nothing other than the standard name, date of birth, and address. Beyond that, don't say a fucking thing. Nothing. Not one fucking thing. The only other thing he should say is, "I need to talk to an attorney."

I have no idea where he might be and I have not heard from his since he told me he was going to disappear. I don't expect to hear from him either. If I do I will tell him not to say a thing though, thanks.

My memory is dim, but I think you mentioned he'd already been questioned by police. Who knows what he said then?
