there was something wrong in that game but it's over now and nothing is ever going to be the same up here with the team after that debacle
On the other hand, and I don't think even GB fans can argue, it was a very entertaining/interesting game. It was full of drama. Until the very end, you weren't sure who was going to win.
As a SF fan (that hasn't watched a single game this season), I was amazed by SF's defense and special teams.
In all of football, how often is it that the game is so dominated by plays made by the special teams?
Special teams win games all the time, but in that game they were influential for the whole thing. Again, SF didn't throw for a single touchdown.
Shit, how many times in a season is a kick blocked for a touchdown?
The GB special teams are the worst in the league and have been all season long. The GB defense really held up their end of the bargain not allowing SF to do much of anything except the game winning FG. The Packers are usually much better on offense than they were last night, credit SF defense for that.
It was one of the most dramatic games I can recall.
What's weird is that the snow/cold seemed to hurt GB more than it did SF. That was entirely unexpected - by probably everyone on the planet.
Damn it... I forgot to hit enter.
I did mention during the game to my son that it was a drama filled affair
