There is so much water that the water temp does not fluctuate a whole lot like in smaller lakes
Yup... Where I live, on the ponds at least, ice can easily get 30" thick.
It's awesome in the spring when shit all melts at once. We get giant floods that take out entire roads and mean long detours. It's amazing to witness the strength of Mother Nature.
I give no shits. I live on a mountain.
There are quiet little streams around here that turn into raging rapids for a few weeks in the springtime
I'm in the mountains, so it's pretty impressive. Giant chunks of ice propelled by raging waters take out trees and even sometimes take out bridges and shit like that.
You know my current dilemma? I can't seem to get enough gumption up to get drunk. I am still not drunk - not even remotely so.
But, I am high as balls. I have a small quantity of weed and some edibles with me. It's amazing how much weed has improved, and how quickly it improved.
This is countless times better than 'medical' was just a few days ago. I wish I could send you some, except I'm running low on the weed itself. I stil have bunch of edibles.
Maybe I'll send you some edibles when I get back to Maine. 'Snot like I'll be putting a return address on it.
