I have mechanical sympathy - but I run the cars near the edge sometimes.

In my case, the miles stay low 'cause I have so many cars to drive. If I drive a new one every week, I have years before I drive them all. Shit, in this action I've already purchased more than 100 cars. (Yes, I already set up storage for 'em before I even came down here.)

I tried buying it off the block for 750k but the dude wants 1m or higher for it. It's the only one in the US, so fuck it... I don't need a car that attracts that much attention and is that much of a certainty. At least not for a million bucks.

And, I buy some pretty sweet cars. I want them to last. I want to enjoy them. I want them to be reliable. I want to be able to hop into any one of them and drive to California and back and have to do nothing except change the oil, keep the gas topped off, and make sure my tires keep the right pressure.

I tried to buy it. They're still pestering the seller but they haven't budged.

I've seen it take an hour before the seller relented. I've also haggled (not directly, I do it through the phone operator who talks to the seller on my behalf) for a while.

I'm willing to go to 800k. That's my final offer. There's just one in the US. I'm gonna fucking stand out if I drive it anywhere on public roads.

I love that people see the cars, but with most of 'em I have 'plausible deniability'. "No officer, that was someone else in a sport car ripping it through town. I own a yellow sport car, but it was not me."

Then there are the fuckers that will track you. They use stuff like VIN Wiki. So, people will know where you were spotted in your exotic car.

The good news is I can slap a different plate on 'em when I take them out. I like that.

That is seriously one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. God that thing is gorgeous. Just thinking about it is making my heart race. Seriously. I would probably have a god damned heart attack if I were to be in the presence of that machine
