Yeah I know you have the RV, I wasn't sure if you had any conversion vans or not! I guess not!
Nah, not really. I kinda want a shaggin' wagon, complete with tassel curtains.
As near as I can tell, they're all hagged out and disgusting now. None of them survived. Or, if they did, they're not showing up for sale locally or at auctions. Some do show up at auctions, but the pictures of the inside make me think I'll catch some sort of disease if I spent any time back there.
I had one years ago, it was a good time in the back. I remember some friends and I took it to a concert this one time and the cops were going through the parking lots before the show trying to catch people smoking pot, and when they spotted the van they made a beeline for it. Now my van didn't have any windows in it besides the two front door windows and the windshield. When it was put through the conversion though, someone put these fake teardrop shaped windows on the back end of the van. They looked like darkened glass that went through but they didn't go anywhere. Just glued or screwed to the sheet metal of the body. The cops didn't know this, and they thought for sure that someone was inside there smoking the devils lettuce, and they peered into those teardrop windows intently for a good 15 minutes, shining their flashlights in there and all. idiots. My friends and I were just a couple cars away enjoying a beer and the van was empty
I'm not sure what to think about fake teardrop windows. I find it revolting and amusing - amusing that a company would be that cheap, that people would be that vain, and that somehow this seemed like a good idea to anyone but a yuppie bean-counter.
