hey Chris is here and I was talking to him about the COF situation

A thought occurred to me that didn't COF have copies of a whole lot of the FNGT songs? I wish I would have thought of this sooner, but if I could I would like a cope then I could keep the archives up and playable if the links go bad, I dont know if you want to bring that up to someone in his family and if they would even be willing to help to send them to me some how, google drive or something or even just copy them to a flash drive and mail them to me, I just had to write this before I forgot, I really wish I would have thought to ask him about this last time we were talking, but I didnt, so,

He had a copy of all my work. I have that archive.

He did archive a bunch of music from before, from people who didn't use stable upload sites.

That material is gone.

I just checked my email archives and the only uploaded archive I have is still just my work.

I know that he had more than just your stuff downloaded. He told me that. He told me to remind him and I forgot until now damnit

Yeah... They're gone now.

And, yeah, he archived those that weren't uploaded to SoundCloud or YouTube. He also archived my work just 'cause he wanted a copy.

So, all that other work is gone.

Hmm... I could ask the family to sanitize the laptop, removing personal information, before selling it to me. I dunno... I'd feel awkward asking.
