The law absolutely says they could put me in prison for this. The law is really fucking clear about it being a criminal offense.

I'm not scared to give the government the finger and tell 'em to come get me. Man, I've appeared on stage at pro-pot festivals long before pot was anywhere close to legal. I'm not talking like a Phish concert, I'm talking about 5000 people getting together for a weekend to openly defy the law.

They didn't arrest me then. They're sure not going to arrest me now.

Fuck 'em.

They're not going to put me in jail for this. They're not even going to consider it. At no point is anyone going to say, "You know what, we should charge him..." I don't even care if they read this. They're still not going to do a damned thing to me.

Also, I'll be pretty isolated from it. I'll have my lawyer set up a LLC that's held by a trust. It'll just be one small investment wrapped with other investments in a single trust of which I am the sole executor. I'll even fund it by taking a loan against some stock that I own, So, even if I 'lose it all' it's just some shares in a company where I own quite a few shares. I'll probably put it up against the TSLA stock. I'll get a near zero interest loan on that.

I am still not sure if I want to move forward with it. I keep saying I'll send it to my lawyer, but I have yet to get that far. I'm not sure I even want to invest my lawyer's time on this. I'm not sure if I want to potentially waste his time. It seems inviting - and it'd employ as many as six people that live in my area. I like that aspect. I really like employing people when I can justify it.

That sounds like a great idea! Though it could also lead to added conspiracy charges!
