Yeah I remember back then that they would tell us that a computer is going to be in every house and I was thinking to myself, why? Most people in the computer class struggle to get the computer to do anything

In hindsight, I'm not sure that it was a good idea to make 'user friendly' computers.

The web was a much better place when it actually required some intelligence and understanding just to get online. Then along came Windows 95 and AOL or Comcast.

I suppose it's related to "Eternal September".

Hell, I could make a reasoned argument that mobile users should be segregated to their own form of internet.
