That is exactly what they'll be saying after I cause permanent hearing loss.

The audience pretty much never wears hearing protection, even with warning and free ear plugs.

We're able to be pretty loud. We try to not be too loud, but it's still loud enough to cause (minimum, but cumulative) damage.

If we wanted, we could pretty much deafen the entire audience. We could literally blow windows out. That's with just what we unload into this venue, not even close to our full set of gear which is meant for large outdoor events.
