No, that means he is not allowed to be bailed out.
Oh, good...
Hmm... Unless he's got friends and family, he's gonna lose his car to the impound lot. Those fuckers are predatory bastards, charging hundreds of dollars a day to store the car.
I would have to imagine he has family that will get the car out of impound for him. I was wrong about the model and year though, apparently my son says it's a 2016 M5
I had a car stolen from the gas station as I was walking in the door to pay for the gas I had just pumped. Which was then the cause of a 5 car accident, which the person who stole my car from ran away from. Which then my car was impounded and I was accused of false stolen car reporting and robbing the gas station and a bunch of other bullshit that I did not do. Anyways, my house keys were on the key ring with the car keys and the impound yard would not even let me retrieve my house keys from my car so that I could enter my home without breaking in, without paying the full towing and impound charges. Those bastards. talk about throwing salt on the would
An M5 is pretty fun. Especially if it's a real M5 and not an M Sport 5. I don't know if they made a competition package for the M5. You really want the competition package and real M cars - not the M Sport cars.
Well, they're all awesome - but the real M cars with the competition packages are most awesome.
And, yeah, that sounds about right for an impound lot. Personally, I think that the rates they charge are predatory and should be limited when the car is impounded so that the punishment fits the crime. Literally, some of those fuckers charge $200 a day. Hell, it's probably more now. It was $200 a day two decades ago.
Someone hit my car from behind so I had to real with all that shit just to get my stuff out of the car. Lesson learned - get that shit towed to your house and not to a lot. Insurance was supposed to cover the storage fees, but the lot didn't have any money from them so I had to pay just to get into my own fucking car that had been totaled so that I could get my shit out of the car. I'm pretty sure insurance reimbursed me.
