Sweet!
Thanks!
I'm a lucky man, Crazy... A damned lucky man...
Also, I took the Jag out this morning. It's a lot of fun, though I was rather gentle with it. She turns in quickly, letting me hit corner apexes with precision. I didn't really get the ass end all that much out 'cause it's in pristine condition for something that has never been restored. When I did throw it sideways, it was gentle and the car was remarkably sure-footed for its age. It was pretty predictable when I did toss the ass end out.
The windshield is a little lower than I like. When the top is down the air still hits me more than I like.
You might need to wear some racing goggles when driving with the top down!
Hmm... I should get an old-timey leather helmet that pilots wore (and then race car drivers) and the goggles to match. And a scarf, 'cause if I'm putting that stuff on then I should probably at least wear the scarf to match it.
I actually have a leather helmet and I'm sure I have goggles, but the leather helmet is old and doesn't actually fit me. It's an authentic pilot's helmet from WWII, the kind that bomber pilots wore. My head's too big for it.
