Oh, fuck no... Those contracts are all locked in with Bob Barker.

I pretty much guarantee your jail's full of Bob Barker products. They make everything from shampoo to the beds and bedding.

Also, they're not affiliated with the Bob Barker from TV fame. They're a Mexican company, as memory serves.

Bob Barker is pretty much a jail/prison monopoly.

There are also only a few 'canteen' companies in the US. They too are pretty much monopolies, but are more regional. The whole system is straight up fucking corrupt.

I know the canteen at the local jail is run by the former sherriffs wife, at least thats what they put on the company tax documents

Yeah, there's other canteen services that sell stuff like see-through televisions, radios, and alarm clocks. They sell stuff that's only suitable for inmate use. They also sell the ramen noodles, the candy, and all that shit. There are a few of 'em that do it.

The prisons are the only ones around here that can order the see through things, the only things you can order in the jail is the snacks and the toiletries
