I do remember hearing that, but I might have misremembered

If it helps, I verified it 'fore mentioning it. They did a study on wild turkey movements - well multiple studies.

Turkeys meander all over the place.

I don't normally bother bird hunting, much to the chagrin of my dog. I used to, but it's really not all that enjoyable. There's not enough reward vs. the effort involved. In a few hours, I can bag my deer, have it weighed, and dropped off for processing. I end up with 140 pounds of meat.

I do like a duck here and there, but they have ducks on the farm.
