Nah, there's no Linux version. I could possibly run it with WINE.

And, that may not have been what he used, now that I think about it. He used some old editor, but I forget the name. He also did some mixing and I think that may have been what he used.

Fruity loops is more of a programmable synth that can record as well if you have an interface

Yeah, that's what I meant by 'mixing'. He used a different piece of software for his guitar and whatnot.

He used fruity loops to mix beats together.

yeah its good for that, but I think the Hydrogen Drum Machine drums sound way better that the Fruity Loops drums
