I don't want to go deaf so I don't play it quite that loud, though I do love it very loud!

LOL I have custom earplugs and boxes of regular earplugs. I've done "not bad" at protecting my hearing through a career of music. I haven't done "great", but I've done "not bad", maybe even "not too bad".

I dont wear earplugs when I play music. Sometimes at work, but that's about it

I don't if I'm playing quietly. If I'm gonna make some noise, I will often wear them. I'd like to say that I always wear them when necessary, but that's simply not true. I'd say that, if the situation dictates - if it's loud enough, I wear earplugs more often than not.

A set of custom earplugs helps.
