It shouldn't.
Technically, when I give away the left over pot (plus this year's trimmings - I'll make the person I give it to do the trimming) away, that'll be against the law. We can only give away 2 oz at a time. However, nobody is gonna know or care.
It's absurd. I can have SIX FLOWERING PLANTS PER ADULT and be legal. As in, at all times I can have six flowering plants for every adult. I grow The Doctor usually and that has a 'low' yield of about .75 to 1 pounds per plant. I could speed up the cycle and have the plants flowering for 2 months. So, for one person, that's 24 plants per year.
Ain't no way you can smoke all that by yourself.
I can possess an unlimited quantity, I'm pretty sure. I just can't grow more than 6 plants per adult - so 18 plants flowering at a time would be legal. That'd be 72 plants, or 54 to 72 pounds per year.
That's not a typo, that's how much I could legally grow with J and Biff living here.
WTF can I legally do with 54 or 72 pounds of pot?!? I ain't smoking all that. We have six plants, out of 12, that we kept this year. We culled the six smallest/weakest.
Seriously... Up to 72 pounds of pot per year could be grown here.
I know it's absurd. All the neighboring states have made it legal and this state acts like it's still a schedule 1 drug
LOL It'd be great if it was legal enough so that I could send you some in the mail!
I'm trying to figure out what we'd do with 72 pounds of pot - that's after trimming and all that. That's just bud. Hell, it's trimming some of the bud off 'cause it takes too long to be extra careful.
There's 3 of us and we could have 18 to 24 pounds of pot each.
i wish you could send me some in the mail. But I sure as hell do not want to go to jail
