Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

The venue is west of me, in the same mountain range. But, it's a couple of hours away. So, I have no idea if it's the same micro-climate. Ain't gotta clue.

Right now, they're saying rain on Friday and then drizzle and thunderstorms for Friday night.

you sure do not want to be playing outside in thunderstorms

Oh, fuck no... No, we've got a stage made mostly of metal. It has giant rods that you pound into the ground with a sledgehammer just to ground it.

But, then we had thousands of watts of electricity running on and around it.

Those grounding rods ain't gonna do a damned good if the stage gets hit with lightning.

Yeah, that is not something you want to fuck around with.

Though if the band were to be electrocuted during the performance, that would be one hell of a show. The people in Maine would be talking about that performance for many years to come
