Cool
This afternoon I went and bought a les paul junior, it was only $40. I found it online some dude had an ad selling it. As I was looking for the address I saw an old friend that I have not seen in fifteen years. The last time I saw him me and my girlfriend at the time were partying all night at his house and we left around 6:30 AM and then his house was raided by the DEA at 6:45 AM. My girlfriend was telling me that we were being followed when we left his house but I lost them in traffic, and lucky for me, that day I was driving someone elses car, not my own. LoL Anyways. I stopped and got out and he ran up and gave me a big hug and invited me in.
we were talking about how we been and how mutual friends have been, he used to live with opie years ago and he did not even know Opie has been in prison. As we were catching up he asks if I still like to party, and of course. So he gives me a bag of weed and coke. Just for nothing. I got more than the $40 worth that I was planning on spending on the guitar.
I told him that I was there to buy a guitar, and he's like is it that guy in that house?
I told him the address, and he says yeah its that guy, He's a meth addict and it's probably stolen. It's cheap enough for that to be true, but I bought it anyways
Epiphone or real Gibson?
epiphone
Hmm... You can get them new, on sale, in the $200 range. Unless broken, it should hold most of its value.
So, yeah... It's probably stolen - or the junkie has given up on playing or convinced themselves that they'll buy a new one 'when they have the money' (with the usual addict shit about how that'll be any day now and they're almost ready to turn their life around kinda shit).
If it's stolen, that fucking sucks. Having your guitar stolen sucks. I can only imagine that it really sucks if it's your only guitar.
