It was sent to one of his shops. I doubt he actually saw the car. This mustang is a 2017 or so. I didn't mean Shelby personally worked on it, just he has shops in his name beefing them up
If it's a 2017, it's a great car to crash in!
And, no... Shelby wouldn't have signed that. He'd be dead by then. Carroll Shelby died in like 2012. These days, the Shelby name on a Mustang is a package name. I'd say Carroll would be pissed, but he wouldn't be. He fucking endorsed anything and everything!
I met Carroll Shelby at numerous events. He was a nice guy. I have a t-shirt signed by him somewhere. He always carried a couple of markers to sign stuff and signed anything asked.
He was a fascinating person. His involvement with the Ford GT40 is now a well-known story due to the movie (I assume, I haven't seen the movie).
It's not just the package from Ford on my aunt's mustang, he sent it out and paid like fifty grand for new engine, new suspension and drivetrain. He gave it to her for Christmas like three or four or five years ago
Ah, nice! I think I know where he sent it. Yeah, that could keep up with the M6 for a bit. Yeah, that'd be a fun day at the track.
Alas, the missus wants some attention. I probably won't be back tonight. I need to finish up a few more tasks and spend some time with her.
