Pretty much, except for specialty drag cars. I think one of the factory Demons does about the same. From a very brief search, it looks like the S Performance Plus does it in 10.44 seconds. That's stock. You can put drag slicks on it and get some better traction off the line. It's got motors on all four corners, so it's a traction beast already.

I remember my son showing me a video a year or two ago with one of those teslas doing a quarter mile race against a bunch of super cars and it took the lead right off the starting line

Yup. They're electric motors. So, the torque is pretty much instantly there - all of it. It doesn't have to build up to a torque curve. You just stab the pedal and hold the fuck on. I think my quickest is 3.2 seconds, compared to 2.5 seconds. I have a few cars right around there, including the GT3 RS. 3.2 seconds is fucking quick. 2.5 seconds has to be amazing.
