Then again, you make more than most people make, by a very, very large margin!
I actually have more money (assets) now than I had when I first sold my business - and I gave a bunch away to my employees when I sold.
The market was in shambles, so my investments have done very well. Pure shit luck and timing. Stocks and bonds were dirt cheap when I invested the largest amount.
It's true what they say about the rich getting richer and money attracting money. It's much easier to make money when you already have money.
I'm not sure that it should work that way, but that's how it works.

That's just how it works.
I suppose that wouldn't be true in an ideal world. The people generating the most wealth are the ones who least need it.
But, that's capitalism for you. It's not perfect, but it's better than it could be.
