It's pretty awesome.
I owned so many shitty cars throughout my life. Owning nice ones is a treat.
Hell yeah!
I've had my share of shitty cars too.
Hell just an hour ago when I went to get my woman when I went to start the car to come back home with her the damned thing wouldn't start! It was turning over but no fire up, no spark apparently. I thought what the fuck! Looked under the hood, the belts are intact, the motor turns freely, what the hell is going on.
User error
The car was not in park fully
Fired right up after I shifted in and out of park.
LOL My Volvo 245 is kinda like that -- except it's not user error. There's a switch that detects if the lever is in park or neutral (like a neutral safety switch, except it's at the lever itself) and that likes to malfunction. Fortunately, I've dealt with it before and know how to fix it on the road and get running again.
At least modern cars no longer need to have their points adjusted, distributor caps that fuck up, etc... Most don't even have carbs anymore.
Yeah, cars are a lot easier and more reliable.
I was just shocked that it would even turn over when not in park.
Made me happy when it fired up and ran as usual that is for sure!
