Then the interior probably would not match

My mechanics know the basics, but if it didn't work then it's easy to send out for new upholstery. They can do the rest. Upholstery takes some serious practice to get good at it.

The leather on my front seats is wearing out. I need to do something about that, but I'm no upholstery man

It's not expensive to do a seat. You can do all of 'em for like $700, depending on the material you use.
