I suppose once the word got out all the people who do the raking thing came to your fields

They did and we pick the best of the bunch. It's still not enough labor, but we get it done. I always end up needing like a half dozen more people.

the people you choose to pick dont stay till the end?

They stay, it just requires more. I've got about a dozen people who are really good and come work for me every year, and then we'll need a half dozen more and have to hire them each year. I want to get the berries off the bushes while they're at peak ripeness. It's a time-limited affair.
