I smoke cigarettes. My dad was a big cigar aficionado. He tried and tried to get me to enjoy cigars. He even brought me a humidor full of Cuban cigars one time. I tried one, I couldn't stand it. But all my friends who smoke cigars just loved those cigars. They would rave about them.
Yeah I been watching him work on that bike and he is making it as good as new, if not better!
Cuban cigars are highly, highly overrated. A part of that is because they were illicit for a long time, as we had trade embargoes against Cuba.
Their rum is delicious, on the other hand.
If you want a good cigar, get one from Peru, or even Colombia and Ecuador. Some of the other islands have decent tobacco crops, but Cuban cigars aren't nearly as good as people think.
I want one of those bikes now. I'd feel pretty shitty if they sold it to me, though I suppose they could make another one. If they sold it to me, it'd be because they needed the money or I offered enough money to make it worth it, but they have sentimental attachment so I'd feel bad taking it from them.
It is a beautiful bike and the workmanship on the restoration is awesome. That dude knows his chemistry.
My dad brought me all kind of cigars from all over the world that he always said were the best you could get. I just shared them with my friends. LoL My friends like all the different varieties that I shared with them but they all said the cuban cigars were the best, but that might be just in their minds and the propaganda took over.
That would be a cool bike to drive around in America, I would guess there are not many of those driving on the streets in this country.
I suspect there are very few of them in the US. It'd be very unique. I left 'em a message telling them to contact me if they build another one.
