We have nothing like that in Maine.
I was in the Florida swamps when I saw a python that had to have been at least 15' long. The guide we were with shot it.
For the record, pythons do not belong in Florida. They're an invasive species and really bad for the habitat. I believe he gets a financial reward for killing them. However, I was pretty drunk during that episode of my life. So, I might just have made that up in my head. I'm way too lazy to go look that up.
I have never seen anything like these anywhere else around here.
I will take a picture next time I see a big one
It was fucking huge. It was maybe 10" across/thick, and I think that's estimating low. It was the biggest snake I've seen in the wild.
