Yeah. I know. I remember when you got that ticket in the 720s. I would not e so fortunate. I would go to jail just cause the cops were called, no doubt about it. I really do not want to go through that. I don't have any lawyers or standing in the community.
No, I didn't get a ticket. That's the point! No ticket at all.
Granted, it was 'off season' (it's just after a high-traffic area that's only high traffic during the ski season) and I clearly wasn't harming anyone. But, still... Not even a ticket.
You? You wouldn't have gotten a ticket. You'd have gone straight to jail. Also, you'd have been arrested for grand theft auto - 'cause you would have had to steal a 720S! But, yeah, they'd have taken you to jail for 'criminal speed' and 'driving to endanger' and who knows how many other charges they'd have thrown at you. Either way, you'd have gone to jail until you bailed out.
Yeah, for sure! I know in some states they have felony charges for speeding so much over the posted limit too. They don't have that here, and I don't know if they have that there, but I do know there are several states that do
Hmm... I'd be surprised if you didn't have that there. One of the things I'm familiar with is driving regulations - 'cause it's intertwined with the work I did.
If not specifically, they'll have a catch-all with a name like 'reckless driving' or 'driving to endanger'.
Most states, as far as I know, have elevated punishments depending on speed above the maximum posted limit with jail being a potential penalty if the speed is great enough.
