They're also in a shiny new facility with new tools and a climate controlled workspace.
I take good care of my employees. When I get back, I need to somehow find another employee to work on the farm full time. They're bitching about needing another employee and haven't had any luck finding one.
I wouldn't think there are a whole lot of employment opportunities in the area of your farm and there would be lots of local folks looking for a good job
It needs to be a good fit. Farm work ain't easy and the hours are long. There are no days off on a farm, meaning that they may need to work at 03:00 to help with the calving season and shit like that.
I pay well. I can actually pay farm labor less by federal law, but I still pay well.
Still, it needs someone that fits and wants the job. We don't want someone that's going to work long enough to save up for a better car and then go get a job elsewhere because they now have the wheels to take them there. We want someone that's going to stay there until they retire.
Yeah you need to find someone who wants to do that kind of work, I understand, you dont want to go through the trouble of having to replace someone after you find someone
