I kind of figured you knew that, but I really didn't want to take chances. I'm not strictly sure it should go out to a regular luthier for repair - or even if it should be repaired. There's a small chance that this guitar is historically important and potentially has a considerable value - but I don't know enough to say how small (or large) that chance would be.

The article is almost done!

I read it. As usual your writing is excellent. I enjoyed listening to the links you included, showing how the darn thing should be played by people that know how to do so.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and won't argue with regards to your compliment about my writing style.

If you'd like to go here and use his contact method - we might actually be able to solve some more of the mystery and, equally important, you'd be helping to make their encyclopedia project more complete - as you truly have a mystery guitar.

If you're uncomfortable reaching out to them, you can copy and paste the following:

"Hi. I'm referred to you by David, from playguitar.gq (aka TheBuddha). I'm the owner of the mystery Puccinelli harp guitar that you two have recently discussed. I was told that you wanted to me to contact you, and this is my initial point of contact.

My understanding is that you want pictures. I am unsure of what pictures may be most beneficial to learning more about this guitar. If you make me aware of what pictures you'd like to see, I'll do my best to provide them.

Thank you for your assistance."

That'll work well enough. You needn't use it, but I figured I'd toss you a format/script. I can't say what types of pictures they'll want - but they'll probably want 3 to 6 more.

Your guitar might end up in an encyclopedia!

I just sent an email. It was worded exactly like you sugested except without any of the words you used and a lot shorter. Just kidding. I paraphrased it, since my missives are more pithy than pedantic.
