Dishonesty is probably (apart from health effects) the worst consequence of alcoholism. “Yea I had to work/ work late...” for social events, “naw I’m committed to nonwork (event)” for business opportunities. I have gotten much better with sick days and so on, but a bender or long night makes you just procrastinate life. Not good
