I assume that you have experience in a church setting, where the stories and parables are given out piecemeal, and often paraphrased. You know you'll never get the big picture that way, and one man's recollection is filtered by their own limited understanding. But your relationship with God is your own. I'm not trying to evangelize you, but reading one of the most treasured books of all time has given me more understanding and direction than anything else. These +1000 year old stories are more relevant to the times we live in than some philosopher or whatever patting themselves on the back for their own cleverness. Happy pagan eviction day
