Acting as if all people can be separated from their genetics because of an ideal is optimistic at best. Culture is downstream from genetics. You can not bring tribal elements into a society based on the ideals of logic and justice and expect the magic soil to change them. It does not. There is ample evidence of this. Your hope that it's true is not enough to make it true.
Cultures built on sentiment, will never embrace logic. They will always be tribal. Tribal survival is more important to them than justice. Logic is overwhelmed by sentiment. With jews, it's the fact that their father is Satan who is also the father of the lie. They are, quite literally, the people of the lie. How will you reconcile that with logic and justice?

Tribalism is fundamentally self interested. That we are a biologically hardwired to work in the interests of family and kin is well documented, and it arises from genetics - the more genes you have in common with someone, the more rewarding helping them is. Helping someone who shares all of your genetics to succeed in life is biologically identical to succeeding in life yourself.
Individuals might personally be brainwashed to work against their genetic self interest here and there, but groups trend towards collaboration with genetic relatives. The existence of firefighters does not change the reality that people are more likely to save their own children from a burning building than risk their lives for someone else's children.
This is why tribalism leads to stable, functional, cultures because it works with this fundamental reality of human nature - to help your family is to help yourself, and a tribe is ultimately a family unit.
Humanism, like communism, will always fail because morality and ethos always give out to self interest over time, especially in times of deprivation, and groups will always trend towards acting in their own self interest on a statistical level. "Thou shalt not steal" lasts exactly as long as your children have enough to eat. You cannot build a society on the assumption that everyone is a firefighter.
