This must be one miserable illness, if people opt to kill themselves rather than endure another day of misery:

Recall The Numbers: 85% Infection Rate.
So 1,000 people get exposed to the virus, 850 will become infected.
Of the 850, half (or 425) will require expert Intensive Care medical treatment in a Hospital. Even then 15% (64) still die.
BUT in the USA, we have only 2.4 hospital BEDS per 1,000 people.**
So out of the 425 that need a hospital bed, only 2.4 will be able to get a Hospital bed.
So the 423 that can not get into a hospital the mortality rate shoots up to 70%, or 291 deaths.
Thus you can see the problem, here at home, in the USA is the same that China is having now: not enough hospital beds.
Thus you can see why people who know they are going to die anyway, just opt to end their misery.
Now think about this: California alone has 5,400 cases (people) being monitored by the CDC as potential coronavirus cases.....cuz they flew to China in January or early February.....and that is just one state. NY has a huge population of Chinese too.
Remember too there are "Super Spreaders" who experience ZERO symptoms, for 24 to 42 days, and they are highly contagious that whole time. Currently the U.S. only quarantines people for 14 days. Do the math.
One last thing: The U.S. is still accepting flights from Japan (who has over 700 cases now), and Singapore and Hong Kong, and Vietnam and So. Korea......there are NO quarantine restrictions on any planes or ships coming and going from these places, where we know there are outbreaks too. The U.S. is always too late to close the doors, cuz it might impact the stock market prices.....What impact do they think quarantines on our major cities will do to the stock market???
