Now that we have cases outside of China, we can finally learn the truth for ourselves. There "Super Spreaders" who who show no symptoms for more than 17 days, could possibly be longer. Think about that in light of the Hong Kong cruise ship that left off thousands of passengers after only 4 days.

Unfortunately, Chinese scientists are now saying 14 days might not be long enough for symptoms to appear. At least one patient exhibited no symptoms for 17 days - a full 2.5 weeks.
That's bad news for the cruise ship that was allowed to sail away from Hong Kong after just a four-day hold.
As we reported earlier, the number of confirmed cases aboard the 'Diamond Princess' cruise ship under quarantine in Japan has climbed to 136.
The story goes on to note that, “Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing” have all been placed under strict quarantine control as the coronavirus has spread beyond every measure of attempted containment in China.
This came on the same day that WHO director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus suddenly admitted that the coronavirus outbreak cases we’re seeing in China may be just “the tip of the iceberg” in terms of what is yet to come, reported the South China Morning Post:

Slowly but surely, the world is awakening to the facts we reported many days ago: That the coronavirus has broken containment in China and is on track to become a global pandemic.
The lying mainstream media in the United States remains at least two weeks behind reality, still pretending the coronavirus is a conspiracy theory or that people who are concerned about the virus are “racist” bigots who don’t like Chinese people.
.....Those infections aren’t expected to peak in China until mid-March, according to several estimates. The spread outside of China will have a lag time of 1-2 months, perhaps longer.
In other words, what’s happening to China right now may happen in Singapore, Thailand, Japan or Hong Kong in the March / April time frame. From there, it’s only a matter of time before it’s also happening in India, Africa, Mexico, Western Europe, etc.
If China couldn’t contain it with the most heinous, draconian quarantine measures imaginable, consider the near-zero chance of a city like Los Angeles containing such a pandemic. America can’t even control its borders (thanks to the Democrats), so how is America going to stop a pandemic that’s carried by the movement of people?
Roads in Beijing and Shanghai had significantly more traffic than in recent days and the city of Guangzhou was resuming normal public transport today.
However, the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai said 60 per cent of its member companies were planning mandatory work-from-home policies.
Tens of millions of people in Hubei province were not returning to work, as the province at the centre of the outbreak remained under lockdown.
President Xi comes out of hiding and visits a hospital... ....it doesn't say what hospital or where it was located......probably not one of Wuhan's hospitals. For all we know this could have been staged on a movie set.

One day after the New York Times published a story asking "Where's Xi?" in the headline, the President/God-Emperor of China has finally appeared in public, wearing his facemask in the correct fashion (several local officials in Hubei elicited an avalanche of public criticism for appearing in public without masks, or with their masks worn incorrectly).
State Broadcaster CCTV aired a brief segment featuring Xi visiting a neighborhood in Beijing. In keeping with the Chinese state's propaganda narrative, Xi "investigated and directed" the ongoing virus prevention work and asked after residents and workers.
Xi said Monday that China would take "more decisive" measures to suppress the virus. Those words should send a shudder of anxiety through a population that had expected to return to work on Monday, only to find that one most offices and factories remain closed.
Xi visited the Chaoyang district, according to state-run media Xinhua
