Remember Western Governments are lying to everyone too. No one wants to tell the truth for fear of stock market crashes.

This is what happens in an information black out, people are dumbed down and don't understand the risks.

A fourth patient in England has been diagnosed with coronavirus as a microbiologist warned that the country could suffer a “major outbreak” which is likely to become a pandemic.

An unnamed UK-based company had a business meeting in Singapore last month. Now people who attended the meeting are getting sick.

The nationalities of the sick are Malaysian, South Korean and Singaporean. I'm guessing a few Brits as well.

The problem is no one is pro-actively testing for nCov unless there is some tie of China/travel connection. So, if it's spreading in cities (which based on how easily it seems to spread appears likely) they aren't going to test until they get a large group of unknown pneumonia

Yes, with likely community spread in other countries, we need liberal testing criteria. Another worrying fact is that 10% (JAMA study) presented with GI symptoms (i.e. no cough or fever); those were the patients that ended up infecting unprotected healthcare workers.

Risk is much higher if it really can spread before symptoms appear and it has a long incubation period

Air travel should have been shut down more aggressively much earlier.
