I have no idea.

Well, I have eaten ze bugs before, and it wasn't because Bill Gates told me to. I had some crickets and a scorpion in Thailand, because I was drunk and there was a vendor on the street selling fried crickets and scorpions.

The crickets were mediocre. It mostly tasted like the soy sauce the vendor sprayed on them. The scorpion was downright bad, it was just all shell. I don't think Thai people actually eat those bugs very often, I think they mostly sell them to drunk tourists as a gimmick. Never saw them selling those in any of the smaller islands or villages I went to, they were really only in Bangkok, and on some of the roads that are heavily traveled by backpackers flying in and out of Thailand.

Regardless, kind of a shit food. I still like crabs, tho...

I eat crustaceans, but will never eat bugs or snails or frogs.

Also we know what you did in Thailand.

I'm not ashamed of getting a hooker in Thailand. It is part of what made me who I am. It was the only part of the trip I didn't enjoy.

I was young, and foolish, and susceptible to the judgement of those I was traveling with. They all told me it was just what you do when you are in Thailand; After all, you wouldn't go to Philly and not get a cheesesteak? And you're not a faggot, right?

I did not want to have sex with that prostitute. If felt creepy and weird. I didn't know her. But I knew I was supposed to. They had all told me that was what I was supposed to do. After all, you're a straight white male from a 1st world country. She wants the money. You're not one of those fat old Americans/Europeans that come here for sex tourism. You're doing her a favor...

Fuck all that bullshit. It is wrong. The experience learned me well.

Don't trust the wisdom of crowds. They're all idiots. If it doesn't feel right, it isn't. Most people are morons who will do whatever the others do. Fucked up way to learn a lesson, but it was important.
