Before I knew better I made all my popcorn with corn oil. And I eat a lot of popcorn. Like 2-3 times a week. Yearly physical comes around, my cholesterol was off the charts high. They tried to put me on Lipitor but I refused. Read about seed oils and mostly eliminated them from my diet. Switched to butter flavored coconut oil for my popcorn and olive oil and lard for other cooking. One year later and my cholesterol is almost back to normal. And I have a family history of high cholesterol.
