The cloud is very dangerous.

Hehe, I'm pissed some forward-thinking admin at Unisuper also used another entirely separate cloud provider to store the data.

imagine the shitshow if it were all unrecoverable and completely gone forever, 'get out those paper receipts, Prasad'.

Almost as weird as the calls to 'just use crypto accounts on your phone in an natural disaster/ extended power outage emergency'.

Most humans are complete sheep and idiots. They aren't ready for future technology yet.

Welcome to the clownworld idiocracy where we can't fix our own planet so they distract the sheep with space trips to Mars.

…the disruption arose from an unprecedented sequence of events whereby an inadvertent misconfiguration during provisioning of UniSuper’s Private Cloud services ultimately resulted in the deletion of UniSuper’s Private Cloud subscription.

This could be another DEI problem. Things like customer subscriptions are handled by non technical people—account managers and sales people. They’re not the brightest bunch to begin with and they are the kind of departments you can flood with DEI hires without things immediately falling apart. People like that have administrative power to activate and shut down accounts though. Eventually one of them will do an “inadvertent misconfiguration” and by that point it’s too late.

UNPRECEDENTED

This had to be done on purpose. Am I nuts, or does this seem deliberate?
