Hahaha, wtf. Remember when people used to care what new shit Google was up to? How the mighty have falle—*eeAAhem* I mean, culturally enriched themselves. *edit: they also make a lot of references to this "Area 120," shit. Remember "X"? The stuff they did was way cooler; too bad they probably moved on to defense contracts and shit like that.

This seems more like a propaganda piece for "Area 120" than anything else: "Hey guys, remember when Google had really cool secret projects that eventually turned in to market-leading applications? Hahaha, yeah... we don't do that anymore. #MyBad."

I remember getting my invite for gmail way back when and thought it was great. Now I just want them to go straight to hell.

Exactly what I was thinking about. Oh, man. You felt like such a boss, handing people one of your five invites. Like, "Yeah, that's right: I can hook you up, man. I'm just that awesome." Now I block pretty much everything Google-related at the router level.

Yup. I stopped using their services years ago and only deal with aosp because I don't want to deal with apple products.

Even the thing that made them what they are, search, has become a massive joke.

Google and social media?

We already know how that went.

Consider anything by Google to be endangered; just like annotations on YouTube, AutoShare, Google Hangouts, Google Allo, etc.
