It's not about dictatorial morality. It's about facebook, reddit, and twitter taking all direction from their only customers, which are advertisers
If you think facebook, reddit and twitter weren't itching to crack down on wrongthink then you're seriously naive. The "sorry guys, advertisers made us do it" thing was just an excuse to the shareholders. Even if advertisers hadn't given a shit (and I'm guessing most didn't), they would have found some other way to make it happen.
Just look at the project veritas releases, it has nothing to do with keeping things clean for advertisers and everything to do with political suppression.
