My gosh. There have been a mountain of reasons for everyone to leave, but they just couldn't. I think they've finally realized that giving these companies power is a mistake and that ultimately is their choice.

If you are still on these places after everything that just happened you are advanced boomer tier. Unless you are a lvl. 99 boomer wtf are you still doing there?

I know basically everyone on here has already left them because you have to be a bit alt-tech savvy to be on here. But I'm hoping this gets seen by some of the QAnon because I suspect some of them might be still using these services.

But don't be afraid to help your fathers who are freaked the fuck out get to more friendly platforms for non-marxists.

Youtube too.

I think that's wishful thinking. You see all those people with masks on? Not a single one has deleted facebook or Google. Fuck my dad used to be worried about the government listening in on him but after years of npr and msm propaganda he uses a fucking amazon alexa and voice searches all his google searches

To be fair, if you are searching with google they have all of your searches whether you use voice search or not.

That's the irony of "I'm privacy conscious, I don't like the listening devices." > Still uses google.

You are not a privacy conscious person if you are using google.

Its not.

They are leaving google and twitter and facebook.

All of my relatives are asking for help deleting their old profiles across ALL of social media and asking me where to go for social info AND what's a non-google/non-microsoft search engine to use.

The normies have woken people.

Its really happening everywhere I go.

I was crazy and weird for a long time - now Im the guy everyone is asking what the fuck is a really happening.

And they are all listening - they are actually turning.

SHELL ANOTHER ROUND OF REDPILLS BOYS!!

YOU KEEP SHELLING AND DONT FUCKING STOP.

WE ARE FUCKING RISING!

Bullshit.

Not bullshit.

This is happening in my locale.

Were starting a community, best if you do the same in your parts.

Is it just the boomers?

[–] 0 pt

I sure hope its only the boomers at this point. It shouldn't even be them at this point.

[–] 0 pt

They seem to be quite the general scapegoat.

[–] 0 pt

In conservative circles? Mostly. The rest use it on sufferance.

Boomers probably would not have started their title with "So", redditor.

Nope. Its like free crack on a coffee table in a crack house.

I used Lavabit for years whenever sites required creating a username/password until some famous fag got it turned off. Years later someone bought it and tried to make money off of the people who were trying to get back in their accounts..

For mail I use proton... anyone know if it is owned?

I wish there was a way to nest emails the way tor nests traffic or using tor+vpn means neither could associate traffic with the person even if either was compromised. Or tor+vpn+https means nobody knows anything. Then tor doesn't even know the content.

I guess it would have to utilize end to end encryption which is hard because people don't know how to utilize that in email or refuse to universally adopt it.

Maybe I should build it. Yeah. One more thing to build. If you want to have end-to-end encryption and not have people have to touch it it would have to be a desktop application. And then you can use a regular email provider with tor plus encrypted content as sort of a persistent dead drop.

IDK, maybe everyone should just adopt tor-mail. IDK, maybe everyone should just adopt tor for everything. Why is it normal to be giving any meta-data to anyone if you have technology to not do that? Why do browsers even bother with user-agents? How does that benefit the majority of web users when responsive CSS is a thing and most sites never use that information for anything useful except to see that something is a robot. Ok, robots can put something inside of the user-agent header then.

We are all sharing meta-data that doesn't benefit us at all to share, to the point that if you remove it, now you stand out. Let's all remove our useragents together. Or better yet, have that not be a thing that browsers do by default. Browsers should be designed exclusively around the user's interests, and not the website owners.
