Henry Mancini - “Peter Gunn” (youtu.be)
Originally released in September 1958 - 2022 celebrates the 64th anniversary of Peter Gunn. The song was the opening track on the original soundtrack album, The Music from Peter Gunn, released in 1959. Mancini won an Emmy Award and two Grammys for Album of the Year and Best Arrangement songs #1 spot on Billboard’s Top 100 chart.
One of my old favorites from near the end of the big band era.
Also, OTA TV broadcasts a couple of episodes of the Peter Gunn TV series each week, early Monday mornings about 3AM-4AM on MeTV IIRC. Right after an episode of the original "The Fugitive" with David Janssen at 2AM, another old classic.
