The FBI is gunna be pissed that a beat cop stumbled onto one of their patsies before it was ready.

Lol! I had that same thought in the back of my mind but the 48hr rule applies so I figured I'd wait before offering the theory. Could be exactly what we have here.

I’m sure there is a good, reasonable explanation for this Democrat voter.

Authorities don't want to speculate on his motives... then speculate that they are heroes having prevented a mass shooting. Dude was probably on his way to the shooting range.

If the guy was on the up and up, a quick investigation should reflect that and he would be on his way, even with a citation or two for whatever minor Illinois gun law charges he may have incurred. If, after media articles are written, he is actually innocent of breaking any laws, he has a good foundation for a lawsuit against them and the police have serious egg on their face. I wish I knew more details than what this article provides.

Why are you all clapping about this travesty like trained seals? According to the article, the officer conducted a traffic stop and then violated the Second Amendment to arrest this man for his Constitutionally recognized right to bear:

-Arms -Armor -Standard capacity mags

If there was a real crime here like homicide and not just gun-grabbing, they'd have charged him with that.

Here's the "rules" for transporting weapons in Illinois (thegunzone.com).

The cop had full legal justification to verify compliance with Illinois gun restrictions if he saw anything related to weapons in the stop. Very restrictive there.

The Constitution trumps that bootlicker.

While you're sitting in state prison, you can fight their gun laws all the way to SCOTUS if necessary

Unconstitutional laws dont apply.

Tell that to the cop.

Immigration status ?

What crime did he commit though...?

Loaded weapons in a moving vehicle and more I'd say. IDK what the rules are there, could also be a gun free zone. The guy might be a felon too. Traffic violations gave the cop reason to pull him over.

Fruit of the poisonous tree. If the traffic stop wasn't valid (which it wasn't, because they didnt charge him with jack all traffic related), the search is unconstitutional and so are any charges stemming from what it found.

They aren't going to bother writing a warning for a tail light out, running a red light, etc when they have numerous violations of Illinois gun laws.

Yea there was nothing in the article indicating he was a felon just that he was rolling around with some "scary" guns. I hate shit skins more than the average poaler but I'm hesitant to fall for what the media and pigs are portraying it to be.

Joel?

Yeah, what's up with that?!
